👋 More about me

For the last 5+ years, I have brought growth, developed teams, and managed processes in marketing roles with Spredfast (Khoros) and Atlassian University. The first 10 years of my career were focused on creating creative brand campaigns as an Art Director and Creative Director for advertising agencies in New York and Austin. My clients included Volvo, the U.S. Air Force, Lufthansa, AXE, and Southwest Airlines.

My passion project is serving as Lead Organizer and Host for CreativeMornings/Austin. Each month, we gather about 150 of Austin’s creative professionals for a TED-style talk over breakfast tacos and coffee. (And one time, we hosted a global organizer summit for ~250 volunteers who do the same in their respective cities.)

I enjoy being outside: hiking, biking, or camping with my family. I also volunteer as the Committee Chair for Cub Scout Pack 421 in Austin and love to travel for great Texas BBQ and unique craft beers.

She’s added a big dose of energy and joy to our life. Welcome to the family, Gracie!

👀 Once-in-a-lifetime projects

2016 CreativeMornings Global Summit

2016 — Austin welcomed over 250 volunteer organizers from around the world. The three-day CreativeMornings Summit was a celebration of the generosity and community shared by each local chapter, and served as a forum to share ideas, ways of organizing, and create a global set of face-to-face connections, true to the spirit of CreativeMornings.

My role: I led an organizing team in the vision, proposal, overall creative direction, and execution of the event. I also served as host. The organizing team included Ann Blocker, Richelle Ouellette, Brian Thompson, plus dozens of volunteers. We planned the event for over the course of a year, so after it was all over we slept for 24 hours straight.
